Vasari's isn't about pure weapons, but about their ability to manuever their forces and run away when a superior force shows up. One of their capitals (the egg) is even described to be a flying city, hardly a military ship Every race has a civilian cap ship (Akkan, mother ship). Whats your point? Lore wise, the Vasari might be running away, but they have been rebuilding their empire in Trader Space. They are still slavers and

cielos gibe you a 40% damage boost... and they embolden your stuff. give you some more dps and regen.
i'd rather go back play eve, lol.
My frigates eat your hoshikos by virtue of am fuckery..... oh wait..... no they do.
Speaking of the empire tree. sometimes it gets full, and then starts jumping up and down, as fleets enter and exit phase space. This can make micoring in the tree very hard sometimes. I will often want to apply an ability and the target has 8 other ships around it so I target into the empire tree. But when it jumps around bad things can happen. Is there any way to freeze the empire tree so it won't move one me. [/
Actualy, the EA has quite impressive long range firepower ever since they rolled out the omega class Destroyers. The Combo turrets on the sides of the hangar section feature long ranged particle beams and a second burst type fire mode. usualy the ships will switch between burst fire and particle beam, burst fire basicly keeping the barrel busy while the particly beam charges for the next shot. Aside from that b5 nerd rant: you shoul
i play the game in the empire tree....
Quoting Darvin3, reply 3 to get the most out of the skill you really have to go in and target stuff manually. That's true of almost every ability in the game. The auto-cast AI isn't very good, so you really have to be ready to manage manually. If you aren't ready to do that, the ability is largely worthless. That said, if the AI is too stupid for a human to rely on it. It also means the AI is too stupid to be a reliab

use unfair ai?
Quoting Levelheaded, reply 15 Err.... so wrong. Having the radiance in the fleet does not add anything to either the radiance nor the fleet. it will however limit the radiance mobility as everytime you issue orders to your fleet, the radiance will veer off trying to follow that order, most likely ruining that perfect lineup it just did to cb the crap outa things. Theres no need to do anything "very
Cast Malice when the Radiance is lining up????? Simpel assaing PRogen to call sing 1 by selecting it alone and hit: ctrl + 1 Assing your radiance to cal sing 2 by selecting it alone and hit: ctrl + 2 Booth ships can be inside your fleet is matters not. MOve the randiance into the proper position to hit the most ships preferable. Tell it to attake 1 target do not lose sight fot he target. Best to keep you mouse
WALL OF TEXT! (Jump the bottom if you simply want to read the proposal itself) There was nothing hard about malice and cb. Line up your radiance to hit several targets and hit them with malice before it is about to fire. easy. easy back then, easy now. And Malice wasn't needed to be level 3 either, and isnt realy needed to be level 3 now, although its preferable. If you want to rebalance mb, you need to re-evaluate the TEC capitals allt
1.) As Malice is omni directional, always cast it after you see your radiance lining up. requires only minimal learning. 2.) Aim for carriers/caps preferably, they take the whole cb volley 3.) For added effect, try to at least hit 2 targets with the beam that are under the effect of malice. effectivly doubles malice damage. 4.) Have your radiance OUTSIDE of your main fleet. do not include it. let it roam freely. it will increase its mobility a lot and lets you use cb f
Missile Barrage is fine, for the record.
err.... you want to spam hoshikos. they are cheap. and they can demolition bot your enemy. combined with the cobalt and cielo it makes for a dream team of statfuckery. Addiotionaly, being able to give all ships in your fleet a flat 20 hps regeneration goes a long way towards mitigating the damage done to your already sturdy vessels. it als ohelps countering some rather nasty abilitys. The spacewhales 30 dps dot or the radiances 33 dps dot for exam
i build 30 flak frigates and watch fck loads of little flying things die.... then i send them flak frigates in to shoot support vessels and generaly just soak up damage, if the op is dumb enough to shoot them. Speaking from a tec perspective here. Haven't built a single carrier vessel, neither cap nor cruiser ever since entrenchment. I found flak frigates quite sufficient to deal with them. Because no matter what you do: i win. If yo uattack the fl
the fun in sins is, talking to your opponents while you have downtimes in the game. like teamspeak/skype/whatever kind of talking. I have no fun playing games that can last like 4 hours with a random mute. Or a group of mutes. I play with people i know, because talking is fun.
i see way too many caps.....
buying exp to level 6 is a no go. you can already buy up to level 4 and thats plenty enough. you should at least be forced to do SOME work getting to level six. If i can just buy it, whats the point in risking ANYTHING by attacking something?
Honestly: you should have both a radiance and a marauder in either advent or vasari fleets for many reasons aside interrupting a marza. Why? The radiance is a decent crowdcontrol tool and pair up good with all other advent ships, the antimatter burn is a long term disruptive ability that is effective even if left at level 1. Cleansing brilliance, while nice, is actualy not the reason you want this vessel with you. Crowdcontrol is. The marauder increases yo
they are plenty powerfull enough. in regards to the vasari starbase: the cruisers are faster. and the base is a victim to magnetise which is kinda evil considering this bases dies without its abilitys.
marza and dunov. dream team.
Eh, it sounds like the captian of a ship that doesn't know he's cannon fodder. A rookie just out of training.
admittedly: the perfect cpatain for such an ship.
wasnt level : 700% decrease if youre in a ninhibitor field. so it woudl negate 1 inhigitor and cut out one if you were affected by 2. higher levels grant flat immunity. wasnt it that way?
