No. In fact its a rather dull idea. "Temporarily" EEEEK. Wrong. If i go minesweeping i wan't them GONE. For good. In Fact i NEED them gone for good because i'm not going to micromanage a whole fleet. What is needed is a cappable fleet managing AI that will do this kind of stuff for me on its own i na neffective manner, because i'm the fckn supreme ruler, and not some fleet commander. I have more important things to worry abou

This means that when you jump out of that grav well, your ships will suffer 30% hull damage and 100% Antimatter loss as long as the Starbase is sitting there to screw with your jumps. Your Phasejump animation will turn red to show you you just paid a price in hp and am for moving in their without a plan.
Sure it's fast, but every time you jump you lose more antimatter. If the enemy fleet gets to the well before you have enough energy, you're going to be running and losing antimatter faster than it builds.
There are a number of tools at the vasaris hands that kan hinder an ops movement. Subverters stop ships cold for 30 seconds, Enforcers debuff speed by 100% in an area. drag along a overseer with your marauder and
rest assure that ic actualy is working on this because the whole point of this game is multiplayer after all.
I am not sure I understand what you are saying. You can't send a marauder past an enemy starbase and jump your forces to it. If it even survives the trip, it loses all its antimatter leaving the gravity well and will have an enemy force bearing down on it leaving it unable to regenerate in time. You can't use the Cannon; it's an end-game tech and starbases get built an hour before you research the canon. You can send your entire fleet pas
nonsense. The ships don't do THAT much damage. SB' in a half decent defense grid can weather quite some damage and nothing i repeat nothing should stop you from having your own squad of defense carriers in the region.
Because ideally you're going to blow right past that well. You've pierced their front line, now you want to take advantage of that. You don't want to have to advance your front line by 1 well at a time; that's too slow and costly. The Vasari are about MOBILITY and this technique completely counters that spirit.
Bypass the frontline defenses then. Vasari are the only race capable of doing that and n
Quoting Levelheaded, reply 23 My point still stands though: Why do you ignore the tools you have and ask for a simpler, op, all in one package deal? Ah, because we don't have tools at all in the first place. By the way, do you understand why bombers are NOT recommended at virtually any situation? ... <b
slight problem: Even if you know: what are you gonna do about it? Scouts do not survie the fighters if you try to clear the mines and you cannont decide where the exit point of your fleet will be when you phase jump.
pic is broken. You sure you didnt catch the area effect of the ability? when it "hits" its target it will hit several more in a quite large circle around the initia ltarget, extending the effective range of the ability quite a bit.
i stil lwonder why the kol seems to be about the big beam array (gfx wise) and yet it only does lolwut damage.
Quoting Levelheaded, reply 10 What i said remains true no matter how hard you try to deny it. youre unwilling to use the tools given to you and expect the game to change to your needs. And this is another evidence, while you are surely one of people who do not play multiplayer, you are lazy enough to not read any articles in Multiplayer and Strategy section of thi
Well, neither dow nor uaw should be mentioned in the same sentance as the word "balance" . However Agent of kharma has a valid point: Symetry isn't required for balance. It's the lame, the easy way.
i rather have them test for another month than having a product that is ridden with bugs and issues. so go [removed] and stop bugging people who have the brains not to be fixated on some arbitrary release date.
Given the lack of a vasari anti sb ship, I would say, and rightly so given thier background as skirmish fleet on the run, the vasari are at the greatest disadvantage in an expansion that is all about digging in. The Planet blasting ability of the advent base indeed is stupid thing. If i would be able to build a starbase under my ops nose, i'd also be able to simply glass the planet with 10 purges. Replace the anti planet weapon with a vortex type thing: draw enemys in with it, then stun them. And shower them. and stun them again.

Starbase costs arent final yet iirc.

The egg is a fine ship, but in no way is it a huge advantage. Some say the advent mothership is the best - it is certainly a better colonizer. Some say the TEC Dreadnaught is the best.&
