After I ran OD as administrator and got the sysstats docklet up, I found that I could revert to running it as a normal user again with no ill effects. Using OD+ on Vista business ed.
sarkar-- I had a problem that sounds like what you describe. Yes, get the files into your folder like you did, to start. Make sure OD is not running. Now, start OD AS ADMIN (right click shortcut, start as admin). Now configure your sysstats and get it working. In my case after that I could go back and run OD as a normal (non-admin) user, and everything kept working fine. I can even configure new sysstats widgets this way. You could try running OD with admin privs. This helped me when I was first getting Sysstats to work. Without admin rights, OD would crash hard when I tried to add a stats docklet. However once I got it working, I was able to revert it to starting with normal user permissions. Maybe you have some once-only type problem like this too?
This took me forever to figure out! The problem is that when the dock is scrolled off it's so far down that the bounce doesn't reach the visible screen. For me, I selected the "stretch background proportionally" option and poof it works now. I am using the aero zoomer bg. For other BGs you might have different results.
