Thanks for the quick reply. I'm sorry if I was going back over covered ground, but I hadn't seen anything posted with a definitive absolute answer for the purchased version on build 537, and most postings seem to refer to versions in October/Nov, which was before I upgraded. I was afraid all the posts I had seen truly were referencing earlier versions. Thanks so much for clarifying. I'm looking forward to the fix "ASAP" ;)

I too am still having this core issue (startmenu helper file was injected....) off and on. I had this problem pretty soon after I bought it, back in Nov/Dec timeframe and based on other posts about resolution, ended up installed the latest beta version in order to get it reliably working. I'm now running v1.90 build 537u. I'm on WinXP SP2 with nVidia 7600 GT. What is weird is I'll go weeks without the problem, then all of a sudden it will happen w/o warning.
