thanks so much man! i never realized that was there! after all these years. this computer had no ram on it until recently and i guess it was configured without any of those items to save on memory. thanks!!!!!!!
i have a problem with my desktop text for shortcuts etc. instead of just being white text with a shadow under it, there's a blue box around the type. how do i change this back to default? [img]http://www.geocities.com/bigcarpileup/online/desktoppic.jpg[/img] i tried changing the the theme back and forth between windows xp theme, classic theme and my current theme and it's the same on any of them. i know this is probably really basic stuff, but i figured someone here
