This hiccup is due to our preparation of getting a private beta available. However we are unable to reproduce the problems you are seeing at the moment. For those who are experiencing this problem can you please let us know what Build number of Stardock Central you are using and what download server you have set (California or Chicago)?

Ad Service Companies go about displaying their ads in many different ways. Sometimes the ads they display are through other ad agencies as well. And sometimes the ads are not hosted on their servers. So because the ads are not always coming from a controlled source its possible that legitimate ad companies will occasionally have undesirable or malicious ads sneak through. Guy, Just to make sure you completely understand how the system works with Watch list. 1) If you are the responder it won't send you an email. 2) If you check a post lets say at X time (like on a Monday) and on Tuesday 4 replies are made and then you check it at Y time (Like on Friday). I'm sure I will play with the cache time a bit but I wanted to take it easy since this is my own home grown component. Didn't want to push it too heavily. And once I get code in to update cache when certain actions are performed then I will not have as many reservations about extending the cache time.

Today I created a caching component that allows me to save portions of the website in memory for a period of time. The first area I have chosen to test with my caching component is to cache the right bar data.. When viewing the page for the first time the data is loaded from the database (like normal) but then is inserted into cache for a period of 2 minutes.
