Cheers I was a bit reluctant of installing IP cos of bad past experiences. However, I put it on this time, put the custom icons in, then uninstalled it hehe. Worked a treat. I did have a subscription to OD but it ran out about 2 - 3 months ago. Cheers for your help. Anton2255
I was wondering if anyone knew how to change the icons of things such as the Run icon in the start menu? I've got IconXP etc etc and I can change things like My Computer, My Documents, even My Pictures and My Music (things that IconXP says can't be changed but I ended up using MagicTweak). Even searching through the regsitry for the shell32.dll number entry (it's something like %systemroot\system32\shell32.dll,32) designated to the Run icon brings up no results. I have to say as a former subscriber to Stardock (until about 2 months ago), I was always a bit disappointed with the resource hogging that WB and DX seemed to show. I've recently installed StyleXP, and tbh I have found it an awful lot more stable and less resource hogging. Maybe it's because SXP doesn't let you change things like the position of the close buttons etc. All I know is as recently as February before my subscription ran out, I tried WB for XP again.
