So, I'm building a WB theme styled after an old set top box system called WebTV, later renamed to MSNTV. Now, the system's UI used these grey panels that would slide up from behind the status bar at the bottom, and a sort of whooshing sound would play as they slid. In case anyone else ends up having this problem, switching to Waterfox ended up being a solution. Only issue I've had is the Google voice plugin doesn't seem to work.
I have since uninstalled, rebooted, deleted residual files in C:\Users\Public\Documents\Stardock\WindowBlinds and C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\WindowBlinds, ran ccleaner, rebooted, reinstalled, then rebooted once more. No go. It's still acting up with Firefox. I have also opened a support ticket, but figured I'd post here in case anyone has any ideas while I wait for Stardock's response.

I paid for it when it was still WB6, and 7.4 the latest download they give me to download. I can't see paying for the upgrade when it might not work. Edit: Oh to hell with it. Upgrade was $7; a lot cheaper than I thought.
Okay, so I've completely wiped WB from my system, and reinstalled. I have also reinstalled Firefox 24, disabled HW acceleration, and neither of these things have fixed my issue. Basically, unless I create an exception for FF in WB, then FF will never actually open. It will show in task manager, but the window never actually appears. However, if I create an exception, FF will launch, but will be missing the min/max/close buttons, and have an ugly blue bar in place of an actual titl
There was utility installed to manage networks installed from broadcom, which I uninstalled. Windows should now only be using wireless zero config. The problem still exists however.
To clarify, I found the reason my latency was so high which was a bad phone wire to my DSL modem. But, whenever a skin is applied I cannot repair my connection. It fails at step "Connecting to the wireless network", but the network DOES reconnect. Thats why its so off. It says it cant connect but does. And this problem goes away without a skin applied... Edit: I only purchased WB6. The only other stardock program installed is object dock.

After 2 days of digging for the culprit for a strange problem, I finally found it. I recently purchased WB and all was well til the first time I tried to repair my wireless internet connection. After a series of unusual lag spikes playing world of warcraft, I naturally tried repairing the connection which failed at the step "connecting to the wireless network". However, the connection does continue to connect normally. This problem is easily fixed by applying the default winxp theme. Strange eh?
