Thanks for all of the feedback. I've been following this game for a while now and I really like what I see. I haven't pre-ordered yet, but I will purchase this game in the near future after it comes out. Hopefully it will play like the books that I have read from the following authors. AI scripting in Sins of a Solar Empire Sins Forums

Will there be a way that we can script the A.I. for our own ships/fleets? I'm thinking that at the very minimum we should be able set aggressive behaviour for fleets or individual ships. It would be great, if we could script a detailed battle plan for the A.I. So it would react differently with different situations. That way we wouldn't need to "babysit" every last little ship. Even a waypoint patrol or something.
