[font="Impact"][/font][size="3"][/size][I][/I]Just a tip about tipping your hotel housekeeper. You may want to tip on a daily basis if you stay for an extended stay. Your room may not be cleaned by the same housekeeper every day. :D

I keep all pennies. I have nothing against them. Although we do segregate our pennies. Any penny minted after 1982 no longer has copper in it so they go in a seperate jar to be spent. The older pennies are saved to pass down to the kids as collector pennies. Who knows someday my birth year penny might be worth alot more than a penny. :LOL:

On a good day maybe 2 out of 10 rooms tip a really good day would be 5 out of 10 rooms! When I come into a room where a guest has tidied up for me, I don't worry about a tip. That shows me they either have been a housekeeper and the job is not as easy as some people think or they are very thoughtful and making my day a little easier. As to the hourly wage for housekeepers, it depends on the hotel you work at. I have learned that some hotels pay you a set amount for each room but I don't know

Don't try those early bird sales, from 7 am to 11 am , at Christmas time either. A couple of years back our local Wally World advertised a laptop computer for around 350 dollars or so. Several of my coworkers went in to try and get one. What they didn't say in the advertisement was that there would be a limited supply. There were 20 of them to be sold. Of those, 10 were bought by Wally World employees before the store even opened. So the other 10 were gone in 15 minutes afer opening. S

A tip is not included in the price of your room at most hotels. I was just wondering if you tip your hotel housekeeper. If you do, how much do you leave? When I go in to clean a room I am happy with 2 dollars or more. I think the 2 dollar tips are usually from a one night stay. The most I have recieved is like a 10 dollar tip in a room. I think as those as at least a 3 night stay. </di

Ok this blog will actually have to do with a situation that came up at work today. You as a guest walk into your room which has a table with two chairs, an entertainment center which has 3 dresser drawers the tv and a microwave and refrigerator on it. A wardrobe(closet) and two queens beds with a night stand between them. You wish to plug in your laptop computer.

Ok I have figured it out. If you are in forums, at the bottom of each comment or reply to a post there is the little thumbs up icon next to the [report] button. I figure you push the thumbs up and then you can pass out karma for that comment/reply. So obviously you can not give yourself karma. lol I guess I will have to be a very active commentor if I want some of that karma. So seeing that you have no karma either Bunnahabbhain.
