ever run AI only games? in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

As an experiment I ran a game today. I had nine opponents, I loaded until I was alone in a corner of the map, and I cheated for all tech so I would be ignored most of the game. About 3 civs were annihilated and it ended year 2233 in a race to a tech victory. Has anyone tried the same? Did your results differ? Without player influence will there be an influence, diplomatic, or conquest victory?
