They are supposed to be support characters, susceptible to assassins. Nerf generals hard, and to compensate give their minions a significant boost.

I just read the following quote from Brad Wardell in his Status Report Dev Journal: "Based on the logs, multiplayer is working pretty decently for most people" How many of you think this is accurate? I think there may be a problem with the logs... In this post http://forums.demigodthegame.com/348096 Brad mentions that: "Our beta group was overwhelmingly located in North America and they didn’t have problems connecting to each other.
1) Our beta group was overwhelmingly located in North America and they didn’t have problems connecting to each other. That is still the case now. But people in Europe tend to have problems connecting to people in the United States.
Well, I hope I don't get banned for this but... I have to disagree with you. Many (if not all) of the beta players were well aware of the connection issues and we reported them
Then for absolute insanity, try setting starting gold, warrank, and level to highest. Grunt strength high, flag capture low, as well.
Starting gold at high screws the game up. War rank starting at high does too as players can immediately buy giants.

Anyone who thinks this game is a clone of Dota should try this. On the Prison map set the following options: -Spawn Rate: "High" -Tower Strength: "Low" -Death Penalty: "Light" -War Score Rate: "High" -Experience Rate: "High" -Gold Income: "High" Play this with 4v4 or 5v5 and what you will experience is CHAOS. It is like being in an actual war. In my *humble* opinion playing the game like this gives it a distinct feel. Dota never

Mods should delete this thread. Garena is a tool primarily used by pirates. It is like Hamachi, but Garena has a lobby system to setup matches for players. After connecting to the appropriate lobby, players launch the game and go to LAN. Games will show up in LAN like they would in a lobby-system. This is like a backdoor around a system that would otherwise require you to login to access the lobby.
What really bugs me is that both those reviews were written by the same person The same guy gave Age of Conan an 8.5.
Oh come on. Age of Conan was fun for about the first 20-30 hours. Most reviewers didn't play the game long enough to get a true sense of the game's problems. http://www.gamerankings.com/pc/927504-age-of-c

The latest patch has been a dramatic improvement for me. I was actually able to play a match today, having been trying since Monday. In fact I was able to join most of the games I attempted (not counting the ones where I received a "fail to connect" before the attempt was even made). When hosting my own game I noticed that some players remain on the NAT connection screen for a while even after you kick them. I also noticed that some players seem to be 'unkickable.' These players

I have to say this is a great idea and would like Cari to atleast think this one over. To me it seems very reasonable. This along with auto-kicking those unable to connect and showing the info dialog by defualt seem like great fixes to our problems.
Please spam the developers in IRC about this thread unt

The method of closing all slots but one and then opening a new slot after someone joins seems to work pretty well, but it is a pain in the ass. How about the following system: 1. when a player attempts to join a game, 'queue' that player behind everyone else that has attempted to join first. 2. the player first in line only attempts to connect to those already in the game-room. 3. the player currently attempting to connect to others in the game-room has 20 seco
