It seems to me that pirating a game is more work than just paying the $10. Who knows what you're really downloading when you go the pirate-route? $10 is very reasonable for this expansion. I'll gladly continue to pay my money for the quality products this company produces. They're always worth every penny.

Success!! You're the best my friend. Thank you very much.
I'm still open to any suggestions. I heard back from support on Monday. The suggestion was to uninstal and reinstal the game using Impulse. That didn't didn't work. I haven't heard anything back from support since.
I've done that and tried the ol' "alt-ctl-delete." Nothing.
Sounds like a different issue. I don't get a Runtime Error. Like I said, the screen goes black and nothing else happens. The only option I have is to restart the computer. I've emailed support. Still waiting for a reply.
Got it. I found the folder and deleted the files. Still nothing. Thanks for the suggestion though. Something has to work eventually.
Is there another way to find the file/files? I tried that path and couldn't find it. No folder named "local settings."
Just tried it. Still nothing.
I updated the driver. But I'll try your suggestion. It's just strange because the game had been working just fine, then it stopped.
Starting last night, Sins would not start. The screen goes black and nothing happens. I played in the afternoon and changed nothing on the computer. But for some reason this problem started only a few hours later. I've tried reinstalling. My drivers are up to date. Anyone have any suggestions?
This is a perfect example of why Stardock is different than many/most/all game manufacturers. They're putting quality first and not rushing to put out a product that's not perfect. Plus, they're giving the customers some ownership by letting them play around with it to help find the bugs. It's refreshing to see something this.
