Dear Zubaz thanx for the reply but as soon as I went to the links you suggested up above, I was totally lost and I mean totally lost, I'm just a technical illustrator and wouldn't have a clue where to start with what they were talking about there, maybe it is the lateness of the nite, I will try and have another gander in the morning, really thanx though, :D you thread watchers are better than earths sentinels the way you answer our quessies

ram usage on widgets in DesktopX Stardock Forums

I actually did another post in general about 3 days ago, I reckon it is in the wrong forum, anyway can anybody help me configure the widgets or sysmetrix to show ram usage, or is it a mission or too hard for a lay person like me. Any advice much appreciated. Thanx Skinners

Sysmetrix and other Widgets in Stardock Software Stardock Forums

Is there anybody out there that can help me set up either sysmetrix or any of the other widgets to show how much ram I am using, you know it shows cpu usage but not ram, is this a big scripting task for me , if it is then I am lost , or is it a simple config., set target problem. Thanx for reply Philly but the problem seems to have been coming from internet explorer, it wasn't opening as soon as I rectified that Stardock opened perfectly. :LOL:

Thanx Duke I seem to be getting a message back saying maybe there is too mush activity on the server and I must retry again later, although that has never happened to me before, thanx for the reply

I booted my puter up about 4hrs ago, when I went into Impulse it updated itself and restarted, Impulse is fine but now when I open stardock central it says I cannot log on, check registration in tools , I have done this and still cannot get in, do I now only use Impulse and not Stardock central for everything or is this just a Stardock central server problem. Appreciate any help on this .

Working like a charm, although I didn't do the reg-clean have done that now just in case, you know I would just like to say I have been on some of the bigger name forums( won't mention names in case I get shot or even worse virused ha ha) and none of them have the service you guys supply, once again thanx very much

In the words of the everlasting Pink Floyd "Is There Anybody Out There" sung to the same theme tune as the song, I bet you are saying, Obviously. I,ve had a update since my last post, but it still hangs up everytime I open it, the control panel gives me time to apply one cursor, the one that is already applied if you know what I mean, then it is task manager time. Pleeease somebody talk to me

CursorFX Plus Keeps Hanging in CursorFX Stardock Forums

Hello you watchers of the posts When I first booted up this morning I noticed I had the normal Windows cursor, I thought maybe it was the Impulse update, on Impulse itself, I had last night just before I closed down, so I opened cursorFX to change it back and it just keeps hanging up that I have to task manager to close it, I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it same thing, is there a new update coming out that I should wait for or is it another problem. P.S. I run WindowsXP

I know what you mean Jarhead100, the exact same thing happened to me this morning except with windowsXP SP2, it really does take all the fun out the morning , I have been trying to sort it now for the last 2hrs, all because of an update, maybe it is the start of the the Y2K bug

Widget problems in DesktopX WinCustomize Forums

Everytime I load a widget it is either not displaying properly or not functioning at all, this is with all the widgets. Objects load ok and thare seems to be no problem with them, but still I uninstalled DesktopX and reinstalled and same problem. By not dispalying properly I mean green bars all over the widgets, the widgets that do display properly the applications related to them do not activate at all, in short they don't work, is it software related or hardware, I'm stumped, c
