Glad to hear I wasn't the only one (not really). Support told me to just make my purchases yesterday and I did. They said they would do a refund on 50% of my purchase afterwards, but so far no refund. After I made my purchases though, I got one year added to my WC subscription, but my Object Desktop did not get a year added yet. Also, after I made the purchases, if I click the Extend button now I get the correct window as Island Dog show
Actually there are 3 Masters updating older skins Dave, Starone, myself and vStyler. You can backup your skins prior to installing Jaroepz, it's not a bad idea. But I would also after doing the backup completely delete the old skin you are replacing from inside Windowblinds (right click on it and delete the skin), then install the new one. The reason for this is that in a lot of cases there may be extra files that would be leftover in th
There are two maybe more Masters that have been doing that for some time now. Starone (Christine) and Lightstar (Tom). I know for sure what Starone is doing and think it's the only way to do it. She is taking Windowblinds she made 10 years ago or longer that were made for xp and Vista. They are opened in SKS. IMO, there is no place for that kind of "skinner" either as their ego's suck all the fun out of an otherwise enjoyable activity.
Well said!
You do realize that some of those childrens sites as you would call them are used by employees and members of Stardock and Wincustomize to often 'promote' the Master Skins you make, dontcha? I've even used FB and G+ to promote works of fellow skinners a few times, including work they do unrelated to WC. Just saying. I'm sure it looks like I am making a big deal of this, but the comment just seemed kind of
