Reply to Movies choppy, sound skipping in GalCiv 2 WinCustomize Forums

I'm having the same problem...although the intro movie is blank, with the movie's sound playing normally in the background. The in-game movies and strangely the tutorials are very choppy. Even the news robot's animations are slow. I've tried turning the anti-aliasing off in the options, I've updated my video card's drivers (geforce 5200), I've updated the video codecs, updated and re-arranged the priorities for the audio codecs...nothing seems to work :( The game itself works f
