Since I do not intend to use Windows 10 should I install the latest WB?
I'm on Win 7 and got WB10 for the new snappy looking UI and new skins. I think it's worth upgrading to WB 10 just for the new features. YMMV
I recommend reverting back to Default Windows GUI, deactivate the WB license in WB UI, Uninstall WB, reboot, THEN install WB 10. Yeah, I know, a lot of steps but from my experience, it was needed to get the correct version number to show in About WB and in the systray. YMMV P.S. It was worth it, I'm really liking the new look.
I will try an uninstall, reboot and reinstall/rebootl and report back.
That straightened things out, but those are more steps than I should have to take, IMHO. Just a heads up, Smart Screen Filter tried to block the download from my store account page. I had to go to other options and allow it. That's the first time I can ever remember that happening with any SD software. Windows 7, IE11 Also now on install, the About and tray icon say I still have 8.05 install, yet I do have the new UI. I have rebooted. Windows 7 Ultimate (7601.win7sp1_gdr.160211-0600) WindowBlinds 8.05 (027 - Windows 7 Edition) - 64 bit
Enjoy the race and season & stay safe.
Your Zane looks just like our Smokey except Smokey is easily twice that size, he's a big boy and as lovable as cat can be. I'll post a pic sometime. He's quite photogenic. We still have 2 cats (or they have us)

I second that Thank You. My life and computing experience has been richer and much more fun since coming to WC and meeting the members and using the awesome creations they come up with.
The only way I can fix the problem once the fences/icons are in disarray is to reboot.
Have any of you tried just logging off and back on? That should reload your desktop settings and would be much quicker than a reboot if it works. Just a suggestion.

I make full image back ups so when, not if, disasters like this happen, I can load the image up and put everything back as it was without starting from scratch. I have too many programs and updates installed to reinstall if I did that I use ToDo Workstation. Don't you have a backup plan, Mark? I try to image my system at least once a month, or as needed.
Thank you all from the bottom of my aging heart. [e digicons]:)[/e]

Ok, Let me correct myself. The link I posted gets you to that dreams page. Clicking on the green download button for a file does indeed fail. Thanks for reporting it.
Make sure the web address http://skins20.wincustomize.com is correct.
That isn't a valid address for a Dream file in the WC gallery. It should look more like this: https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/dream/7493 Name a few that you are trying to find, I'll be happy to check the download links for you.
