Proper 64bit support Might have been mentioned before but I was too lazy reading through all replies
It was, but it don't hurt to mention it again! [e digicons][/e] I understand about being lazy......if there was a catagory for that, I would be a Master! [e digicons][/e]
I didn't think about the intimidation factor. I was intimidated by SKS at first, too. Maybe they could make a utility for OD like the RightClick skin editor. Maybe said utility could incorporate SKS style settings.
That would be really cool! [e digicons][/e] ........I still want to eventually get into SKS! [e digicons]:)[/e]
Sounds like a cool idea Brian! [e digicons][/e]
Quoting myself from another post... What if skinners could use SkinStudio to create skins other than WindowBlind skins? Like, what if I could utilize SKS to create ObjectDock backgrounds and tabs? I just think this would be a GREAT way to go with OD skinning. And this would incorporate a lot of what was mentioned above.
That sounds cool, I would have to dust mine off first, and then get un-intimidated by it! [e digicons]:S[/e]
oh, and png support would be helpful...I think. [e digicons]*_*[/e]
Pesky Munkeh!!!! [e digicons]XO[/e] [e digicons]:ninja:[/e] [e digicons]:waaaa:[/e] ........... [e digicons][/e]
we have to make it as simple as we can for users...in that ObjectDock Library folder, there is a folder for special images that has folders for running indicators etc. You could put the PlusMinus folder there and then when they dl a package, the instructions say to place folder x into that folder.
This would be great, but then there would either have to be a way to select the images like the running indicators, otherwise the whole OD library needs to be moved to the Pu
but then we come back to where are they doing it. C: location or My Documents location...
If they are doing it in C:, right now the path is different for 64 bit, if it is in My Documents, that's no good either because everyone has a different username, I forgot to mention it before........ but the 64 bit has both Program Files and Program Files (x86) howev
Quoting Myself from My RC thread , because it would be cool for OD as well.........
I don't know how much it would weigh the program down..... how about aditional "drawing settings" ( stretch/tile points ) e.g. Left Start, Left Stop......( fancy schmancy design element ).......Right Stop, Right Start, also for Top and Bottom......to allow for centered images in the design of the skin. Of course this would be optional, and skinners could al
This is something I've wanted in ObjectDock as well...hmmmm, I know a thread "Fred"...
[e digicons]:D[/e] I was going there now!!! [e digicons][/e]
Looking really cool! [e digicons][/e]
Of course this would be optional, and skinners could also use the current drawing settings as well, if the design did not require the center portion of the image to be retained.
Cool! :CONGRAT:
Glad You like the ideas! [e digicons]:)[/e] ........... Assuming You are going with My suggested file path C:\Users\Public\Documents\Stardock\??????? Let's agree upon a folder name.......so We don't have Users making a thousand folders all over the place..... ( a ) PlusMinus ( b ) Plus_Minus ( c ) Plus and Minus Also, would You want to post an article about this for all Tabbed dock skinners or should I ??? Pobably ju
Another thing......... I know You talked about, when choosing a Tabbed dock, for it to start at the current dock and not go back to the top of the list.......once again, sorry for being lazy if it was already mentioned...... but, how about if when You click on the list a second time, You could then type or start to type the name of a background ( if You know what it's named anyway ) and it jumped to that place in the list.
I don't know if this was mentioned.......( sorry for being too lazy to read through all 7 pages if it was )........I think it would be a good idea to either make OD able to read the Plus and Minus Images like every other image in the skin ( without the need of a specified file path ) or to move the OD Library to C:\Users\Public\Documents\Stardock..... This way We can make Tabbed docks with Plus and Minus Images with a file path that will work for everyone! ( I personally think My first option
Trashing me, huh?

Actually, that's an empty folder, so no true trashing was done. However, I'm sure if "Fred" was around, that we could change that...
[e digicons]:ninja:[/e] .........and My fees are reasonable! [e digicons]*_*[/e]
Cool Picks, congrats to all! [e digicons][/e]
