I wouldn't be too quick to judge all consoles in that manner. I like the way the Wii was designed and marketed, and I applaud it's success. See, this is what I like, a game development company that actually keeps in touch with it's customers. I agree with Brad. In order to mass market to the populous, one tends to dumb down products in order to make it more accessible.
