Well, I don't really consider some marches and legal battles a 'struggle'. While I can see how living as an open homosexual would have had, and still has, many drawbacks in society (And I know people have been killed over it) I can't see the change from "omg never tell anyone" to "IM ON TV EVERYWHERE! w00t!" as a struggle. I mean, technically the term applies, but compared to women, blacks, etc it's not on par.

Dear Stardock Corp., This letter is to inform you of one Mr. Snall Trippin's intent to sue said company for emotional distress in the release, or lack thereof, of your beta software entiteld "Elemental: War of Magic". Well, it just doesn't make much sense that they would be as strong as a channeler. The channelers are demi-gods basically and immortal because they have so much energy/essence. It wouldn't even make sense for someone with as much power as them to only have black magic spells. Rememeber we'll be able to get 'mages' etc who have much less power then a channeler, so a necromancer should probably have a good bit of an undead-ish army and 'archmage' type power level.

David Eddings, liked him...till he wrote the 'new' book. Lol. But you need to branch out into more modern and better fantasy MilCon. LOTS of good stuff, WAY better than David Eddings' old stuff, and even Pug. Much as I like Pug. Joe Abercrombie, Richard Morgan, Steven Erikson, Glen Cook (Well he's not so new but his new stuff is damn good, better than old Black Company maybe) and lots of otherones if I wasnt so lazy.

They're making hbo series, forgot about that. HBO does GOOD too...sweet. Still, if you haven't checked out Gardens of the Moon (First book in Malzaan series), go check it. NOW. Seriously, you will not be disapointed.

Song of Ice and Fire is damn good, as is Malazaan (Sp?) Book of the Fallen (By Steven Erikson) which is better imo, and he writes faster...heh Then again though, I read everything that sounds good...I have quite a backlog, you should also try Glen Cooks new stuff, and the old Black Company stuff.
