IT differes quit a bit, depending on what kind of game you're buying. For big games like gta4 it's around 50-55 euro (the reason why there is so much gamingpiracy), but for small internet games and add-ons it's mostly between 5 and 15.
Ramage.
Well it's kinda like waiting for a new gameconsole, lets say the playstation4 (in the future). One of the big stores starts advertising that a week before the official launch you can pre-order it there during a night sale. So you stay up all night in the line in front of the store and as soon as the store opens, you run up to the big pile of playstation4 boxes and you pay your pre-ordered playstation4. Unfortunately when they found out you where european, they ripped you off at the cash
Nice work Wango
auchhh....Well put Wingo
I wonder if a line to my creditcard company will do the trick...
Thanks for the tips about playing the original Sins guys.
A couple things. First, orly? Second, buggy beta is redundantly redundant. Third, there have been so many posts by devs saying that they don't give out beta for free because some people still expect a perfect game even though they've been told hundreds of times that it will have bugs and it'll be killed by word of mouth. Fourth, what are you even talking about in
It's because of our European publishing agreement with Kalypso. They set the European prices. We can't undercut our publishing partners, it makes them unhappy.
Well then you should either make better contracts with your publishers or list the correct price, or even better do both. This is a typical case of (possibly unintended) fraud. You cannot advertise your product for price X and then charge them the higher
Besides alerting stardock that the problem is not fixed, my point is: either give out a free buggy beta, or charge money for a final game. And when you do charge money...don't let european buyers pay over 13us dollar when you say you're selling it for 10
The title says enough. Still got a minidump after about 25min of gameplay. Really nice. I wouldn't mind just playing the normal version for the time being, but as you know......entrenchment replaced it. Can't believe they charge money for this.
Yes I noticed the same thing, altough just after I ordered, its a difference ofabout 2-3 euro....Stardock will I be seeing that back?
I don't want to fan the flames too much, but is anyone getting completly thrown out of windows? Since I downloaded the lastest patch whenever the games crashes I get a bluescreen and the machine reboots. Running Vista 64 bit ultimate on this machine. I used to play on a 32 bit xp, but it didn't handle massive games nearly as well. I will try the XP box and see what happens, but if everyone is seeing the same thing I'll tough it out until the next pat
Any news yet?
Well I've installed the new beta driver from nvidia, wich didn't solve the problem. Like I posted before I've got a quad core 2.2ghz AMD processor, a 8800ultra nvidia, 4gig of ram running the whole thing on a 64bit version of vista. Wich brought me to a conclusion. With a resolution of 1600x1050 (widescreen) and the details all set on high and 4xanti-aliasing, it is strange that whenever it freezes, the problem seems to be coming from my hdd or cd-rom. The reason I say this is that during t
Well; Tymestrike, it seems like you've come up with a temp solution. 've been playing for about 45min now, with all hte detailsettings set to high instead of highest. Eventhough my system shouldn't have a problem with the highest, seeing it is top of the line, the problem does seem to go away. So probably there is a bug somewhere in the highest features.
Ít's ridiculous to buy windows32b and make a partitian just for this game. Cheers for the last remark though. I just started up my second game and it froze up in about 10min. I've been looking out for a game like this since Imperium Galactica, but this freezing up and having to reset with all my game progress lost, is just a partywrecker! Seeing there are a lot of nvidia cardusers out there I'm hoping and assuming that this bug is on the top priority list for the devs.
As far as I know the game is only out in the US and on the net. Not sure tough. If I am not mistaken, a paypal account is free and you can transfer money to it from your bank account.
Hey mate, I'm European too (dutchie). The game isn't available in Europe yet. The best thing you can do is get the downloadable version. (Not the one that you can download AND get a dvd sent to you, because that'll cost 20Dollar shipping extra). This way the game comes to around 30,35euro. The link is on the site. Good luck.
Bump
I bought and downloaded the game a few hours ago. Been playing ever since. I must say that after the turutorials I was enjoying my first (small universe) game. That is, untill it freezed up during the second autosave. Had to reboot to get my computer working again. Alt-tab or ctl-alt-delete all didn't work. I've got a brand new system, including a amd phenom quad core processor, the 8800ultra geforce card (here might be the before mentioned problem with nvidia, altough i have downloaded
