I've fixed the problem. It was caused by running it through Steam. In Sins' current state, simply click on the desktop icon instead of adding it to Steam's game list.
I'm running Windows Vista with a GeForce 8800 GTS and my copy of Sins is 1.1 My problem is a total lack of text - there's no words next to the icons on the main menus, nor is there any once I start a game. Help!
