"Are you sure you want Steam" "Are you sure Impulse isn't great" "Are you sure days aren't numbered" Loads of crap honestly... Person who wants to use one or both will use it and person wont use any wont. Steam offers much more titles and its

Yes it runs on Mac perfectly... I got MacBook Pro and have been playing Sins on it since Beta - that is more than one year ago... Of course, you can NOT run it on OS X - but! - OS X has got lovely feature called BOOT CAMP which allows you to dual boot to Windows (XP or Vista or even Win7!) So go for it! You wont have any problem at all... In fact I will go that far and say it will run better on your Mac than on equivalent PC :)

Reply to few posts above :) Regarding "fanboy" stuff - lol, just forget it... It has nothing to do with being a "fan" or not but about comfortable, reliable and secure work environment. As professional designer and photographer who happens to be spending most of his time in front of computer for me "comfortable, reliable and secure" is imperative and after huge number of years using Win I can only be happy to move away from it... For the time being, OS X is the way to g

Another thread pointing at over a year old issue... As per what dchan said - prepare yourself for many hours in case of balanced game or about 45 minutes to get trashed by experienced guy(s)... Saying that it seams that developers are FINALY realising this so in latest patch you have rather nice option of "Quick Start" which basically cuts down very early stage of the game and gives you some buildings and small fleet to start with... It doesn't solve the problem but it

Arguably the best update so far! -New Manifest System allows for original Sins and Entrenchment to coexist (see below for great new mod capabilities). No need to go any further... Thanks guys :)

Hey Shadow ;) How about something simple, straight forward and as classic as it can be... Deathmatch! This would obviously mean the following: - Limited resources (NO infinite credit income and mining!) Team that destroys opponent wins :p
Craig, I can tell you how it makes me feel - unmotivated and furious. Here it is 2am in the morning and I'm working on NEW content for Entrenchment and adding some improvements to the original Sins and I take a break to see what kind of feedback came in tonight. Then I read this garbage; people admitting they are pirates and making demands on what direction we should take the game or they won't buy it. Is this some sort of twisted b

My personal TOP 5 of all time! And this is coming from the gamer who played more-less everything since ZX Spectrum :) Only part of the puzzle that remains unsolved - from your end - is MP... Fact!
The speed of a multiplayer game is quite slow. Yes, a 1v1 can be done in a reasonable amount of time, but it'ws not nearly as enjoyable as a 2v2 map. I enjoy the long matches, but I don't have time for them. Here are some suggestions on a faster settings (primarily for 2v2 and up): 1) Small maps harboring 2v2. Let's say the map holds only 4-12 planets with a single star. 2) Rapid Building: Building
Again, on a small map with all speed settings set to their highest/fastest, I cannot understand how Sins cannot be a quick experience... More than that and you`ve got a Starcraft skirmish. As for political posts, if you want to fundamentally change the face of the game, which is necessary given your parameters, yes - you`re going to have to argue your point with others. Anyway, agree to disagree.
Have y
