Though, Penitence is always an interrupt, and a snare, which is why I think it is more important at level 1 than shield. Also, saying shield 'counters' other things isn't completely true. It costs more, and on a Demigod that has poor starting mana. So while I do use it to remove a level 2 spit off of my poor 1600 hp regulus buddy, it isn't an automatic use against such things.
What bombs are you interrupting at level 1?</p

Shield 1 can be the difference between life or death on an ally. It counters Spit, Bite, Fireball, Snipe, and any other status affecting attacks, and gives you the edge in combat. It can be used offensivley. Penitence doesn't really become too noticeable until you're doing 600 damage with it.

Its really not worth your time to go out of your way to form a "premade". For all the reasons above most specifically including time available and the complete lackluster online Demigod system.

CosMoe's post is an excellent start... perhaps, these abusers (as >90%-win pro's, who join Noob-only games surely are) will soon be banned?
You can't ban for that. And I find it amusing that you ask for people who abuse the system to be banned.

They are being made as fast as possible, they cant do it any faster - what exactly do you want from Stardock/GPG? Magically conjure up the 2 new Demigods like that? Release them unbalanced/unpolished
Its my opinion that 6 months is an absurd amount of time to not implement 2 new demig

Since the community demanded it they are amking them before for example clans etc.
That was modding actually, not the new demigods.

No, I was able to get a model of Unclean Beast in the game in 1 day and got him to auto attack and use 1 ability. There were no effects to speak of, no voice overs, no balance, no skilltree, no lobby movie, no avatar movie, no ability icons, no lobby icons, no achievements, no bac

I agree that the two new demigods are taking a lot longer than we'd like them to take. But that has nothing to do with v1.2 which has been being delivered on with pretty regular updates. No offense but it's posts like these that make me want to throw up my hands in despair. The new Demigod overlay

I appreciate the responses from Sorian and Frogboy. There hasn't been a compelling reason to go out of my way (since the start of that school thing and all...) to get my friends back together for Demigod. The 2 new guys were that reason I was looking for. It just seems like this process is taking ages. I did not expect back in the summer to see 1.2 incomplete and still no new guys in October. The impression was the patch and the new guys would be a thing of the past by now.</p
Again, this is pure speculation as you have provided no source(s) to back it up. Besides, most RTS games have well designed single-player campaigns, and multi-player is typically a graduation from that. DG has a very limited single-player game, and was not designed/intended to be one. Several reviews clearly point this out. I don't think the assumptions you've made about RTS games are applicable to DG. It belongs t
