In addition, version 1.2 is the next major milestone GPG is working on. It’s due in August so that we can show it off at PAX where we also expect to be showing off the 2 new Demigods.
This isn't intended as a flame of Stardock or GPG. I'm just wondering what happened that caused such a lengthy delay of everything. I'm only curious because it hurts Demigod as a whole.

I don't understand why ItchyDustbin posts here anymore.
I don't think the issue is so much balanced teams, pacov. Demigod is a game where the individual skill ceiling is kind of low. Its just about working together as a team, where voice chat kicks in and its something I am fairly sure Stardock can do via the overlay.
Both are very fun games. The playerbase, number of players is very important to me. HoN has 10 times the numbers of players playing. I'm play HoN everyday and never meet the same person. This is the reason why I left demigod and keep playing HoN. Demigod peak hours has about 2,800 people. HoN peak hours has about 28,000 people. Getting a game going in HoN usually takes
This initiative is great. But it only sheads the spotlight on an issue with Demigod >.>
Cataract is overrated in my opinion. But its just the result of there being a limited amount of maps. I think Zikurat is the best map.
If you’re an average player, then you can easily trounce newbies but often still lose to pros.
Good tips, but I feel something is wrong here. Demigod is a team game. Individual "pro"s mean very little. Its all about the persistant teams. The individual skill ceiling is a about a story high. The ability to successfully coordinate as a team is extremely hard in comparison.
Hint hint. Wink wink. I think voice chat is something Stardock can do with the overlay.
That's a great idea.
Kinda worries me we haven't even seen skill trees.
quoting postOk so ive never played DOTA or whateer it is, so I dont know what breed of jerk they have there. But I most say that for the few months I have been playing this game I now see that it is going to FAIL. Here is why: The players. 20% seem to be honest to god noob. Thats fine, but people are assholes rather than show them the ropes. Another 20% are very good.
OK it seems many people get really pissed if someone dies in the first min or two of the game. I understand getting killed is a bad thing, but seriously. You get like 200 gold for that kill. To me if your gonna die once i would rather it be in the very begininig rather than the middle of the game. It just seems that there is more rage than is warrented for an early death. If anyhting it is easier to overcome an ealy death th
You cannot ignore the AI. Its kinda ridiculous when you think about it. No but you can not purposely hunt the a.i as much as possible all the time.
Its just such a stupid situation for a strategy game in the first place. I would take games with AI replacements very lightly.
Guys, the sooner you accept Prussian-Havoc is the best Demigod player the sooner we can all get on with our lives.
Wait, I figured it out. They meant PAX East in March!
You cannot ignore the AI. Its kinda ridiculous when you think about it.
edit: it really stupid what currently happens in the forum. as soon as somebodys tactic/attacks do not work as they wish its called overpowered or something liek that. mist is made for being untouchable! otherwise its the most useless skill in dg, end of story.
Excuse me. If you check my record I have not played for a long time. This is something I just have been meaning to post, but never got around to it.
The totem currently detects him in mist form. He should be interruptable in that case since mist does not prevent this. However, brjoha could be right and this is just an oversight of GPG. Although I think totems could be a good counter to mist. Certaintly would change up consumable combinations.
...when you have a Totem of Revelation in play. I understand invisibility was in the beta, but there is nothing in Mist's description that makes him immune to damage or interupts. This is either a bug, or a mis-wording on GPG's part. Erebus is TARGETABLE in mist
I will have answers. If you have replays =)
I would need replays to help you out.
I did not follow that at all.
I voted Flagbearer because they were an annoying creature type in Magic the Gathering. Its actually a good idea though.
