Cool, I'll join it. #demigod is also good for finding players as well, just pull up the chat overlay and ask. Or demand it, as some like to do.

There is no reason to avoid talking strategy just because skills are changing. Nothing has changed over the last few patches to dramatically change base strategy with any Demigod. Each patch brings minor modifications to existing strategy and builds. It is the fun part of beta. Figure out how to maximize a DG's potential then figure out what changes need to be made to your gameplay once a new patch hits. We are at the point in beta where they want us to really di
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!! This is most disturbing [e digicons]>_>[/e]
Nice some Sedna love [e digicons][/e]
the thing is tho, dalz, is that the game isn't meant to be 1 on 1, so I'm not sure how you could have a tournament that isn't teaming with a bunch of random people. Maybe I just don't understand what you mean.
It doesn't need to be 1v1 though that is valid, tournies don't need to have individual winners. Team against team works just as well. The Pantheon is great but it doesn't equate to a tournament.
Oh in the game on the bottom right of your toolbar is the Favor Item slot. Click it to bring up the Favor Item shop to spend your favor. Once an item is purchased it stays available. Either buy a new item to use or click one that you've already purchased. You can use one favor item per game and can't change your item during a game. Here is a list of all the Favor Items currently available in Beta 3 h
Just a bug in Beta 3. You are supposed to keep the favor points you earn from game to game.
The first tournament ended. Light side won. A new one has started so you should be able to play it now. Light side is winning again.
They do this to mess with me. Tell me that a patch is coming on Thursday when I can play it and then delay so I'll be at work when it is released and can't get to it until Monday. They did the same thing to me with Beta 3 and I know they are sitting around right now giggling and giggling about it [e digicons]:'([/e] EDIT: Or it is what Frogboy said above, you decide....
Not at release but it is on their list of things they may add later.
All Father's Ring fixes a lot of problems though if you are able to afford it chances are the game is going in your favor any way :)
Sedna is soft like butter. You just weren't building yourself to take her down. Freeze her! She has to be in your face to Pounce (9 yd range) or Silence (10 yd range). Her Yetis are really weak, not the best at all. She is the easiest one to destroy on 1v1.
Beta 3 introduced the new cinematic. The previous one just showed a bunch of combat footage. It was enertaining but didn't really introduce the game. More of a teaser trailer.
"As to your question regarding story cut scenes, each Demigod has a unique FMV for when they ascend to the Pantheon."
Very true. You give up other benefits to maximize your mana.
You mean you won't be keeping the 68 game losing streak that the Pantheon thinks I'm on? Well that's a relief [e digicons]:P[/e] While I think all human vs. all human is the most fun, I like the idea of getting into a 3v3 with one human player on each side. Adds a bit of randomness to it when you don't know what AI demigods you'll be getting on the map.
From what I understand that is how it works. I don't know of any rewards yet, but I would like to see something to honor the top players. We are hoping that tournaments will be primarily, or only, player vs. player. The Player vs AI thing will make it too easy to gain ranking.
How did this expansion shape up? Not like $10 is a lot, but is it a must have! purchases?
elemental is missing on that screen *hopes for new elemetal screen*
I second that hope! Demigod + Elemental beta = my gaming for 2009
Largely it depends on what Demigod you choose Sedna you can read my guide .
Yeah Frogboy posted a message http://forums.demigodthegame.com/340829 for when it would close
The guide has been expanded and updated. I'd love any advice any one has on playing Sedna better than I currently do.
Yes we all get this. There is a thread a couple lines down from yours about it as well as many others. It will be fixed before too long.
We just need some tougher AI and single player will be fun. Even if it is just tournaments and custom games.
It uses UDP, open ports 6100 - 6200
