I believe the beta has closed to new people today. The game isn't slow paced at all. The Rook is a giant stone construct, he does move slow, but not all the Demigods are slow like that. Some are quite fast.

You are probably playing against AI. I really wish the game would make it clear when you are fighting against the AI. When I played a Pantheon game it put me against all AI.

1. Make my chat handle be my profile name and not my computer name Oops didn't read close enough, you are aware of this 2. The checkbox keeps the chat channel always on top but it seems to prevent me from doing anything within the game 3. I'd also like to be able to resize it and move it wherever I want if possible

Agreed. The only other Generals favor item that I use is the Blood Soaked Wand. Even with the 45 second cooldown, being able to heal every DG around you for 1000 can be pretty useful. Especially when we are doing a push to the citadel. But I usually only choose the wand when I am doing a my support build with Sedna.

I work all weekend and can't play anyway. I think GPG knew this and have decided to wait on the patch until a time most convient for me. This is really considerate of them to go above and beyond just for me.

What we have right now with Beta 2D is very limited. We only have one map, six Demigods and a clunky multiplayer. Still it has been a lot of fun. They've really got a compelling genre blend with Demigod. I can see myself playing this for quite awhile.

It can be hard to browse all the items in the heat of battle. If they do put it on Impulse, I doubt your key will work I have STALKER and can't register my key through Impulse. It said that only keys provided by Stardock can be registered.

We are expecting the Beta 3 patch to be released tomorrow. Things may change but last I heard that is the plan. Beta 3 will have, I believe, seven maps available to play on as well as tournaments and various enhancements. We've been playing only on Cataract for awhile now, gets a bit old.
