So you believe that you can prevent someone else from drink driving and crashing into and injuring you? We have a measure of control over our circumstances, but we DO NOT have absolute control. I'd like to see that statement of yours repeated to one of the starving kids in Africa, a German Jew during the 1930s or a black African under Aparthied.
I never suggested such things.
It does not invade user's privacy. A game has nothing to do with what software I run on my system, let alone that it needs to collect that information. Let alone that it needs to upload that information to a game producer. Get. The. F***. Out.
Good point, I will add that.

I'm not going to boycot Stardock for putting EA on Impulse, but I definitely will not be buying an EA game again until they get rid of SecuROM. DRM is acceptable as long as it doesn't affect me, but I won't put up with it if I have to reformat my hard drive just to get the internet to work a

I'm going to identify this as a memory leak for now. Sending out invites and opening chat windows increases RtP's memory use. Upon closing these chat windows and cancelling invites, the memory is never fully recovered until the application is terminated.

Right now, sitting in the background, RtP is using 35 MB of system memory. It seems to launch at 13-14 MB and slowly continues to grow as it remains open. Possible memory leak? Note: I'm on Windows 7 x64.

I feel that it is a common and useful feature to have the chat window auto-scroll when the user is already scrolled to the bottom. In other words, if the scrollbar is not at the bottom, auto-scroll should not trigger, but when it is placed at the bottom, auto-scroll should activate, even if the user has moved the scrollbar. This is a problem, because now, the user must manually scroll whenever lines are added to a conversation.
Ah, I see. So you want the chat window to not always be on top then? Zargon0225
Yeah, the always on top thing is somewhat annoying. I would change that, or at least allow for a toggle in the settings.

Why the 'need' to have a headphone wrapped around your head 24/7?
I just want to wear headphones on the train that don't leak sound and won't damage my hearing. Relax, man.
As a person who records music, and uses phones for monitoring mixes, I think earbuds are inferior to headphones. As before mentioned buds damage more easily, and have poor low ends. The driver style buds are better than standard ones (I have a pair cost about $90). For complete silence for people near you (in a Library or near angry Dads) closed headphones are the best! They have less dynamics than open headphones.... for example the
Starcraft is brutally overrated, it is great game indeed, but far from best. And the blind faith of Blizzard fanatic supporters is beyond belief. I noticed it on the Escapist message boards during that Developer competition. After Ironclad failed to advance i voted in the Blizzard vs Relic round and the Blizzard fanboys on the forum were utter tw*ts, saying Relic is no match for Blizzard, cause Blizzard made Diablo and Starcraft, which is ev

I find the following slider in the profiles section confusing: "How much do you value your free time?" Is it asking if we would prefer to spend less or more time gaming? I think that this question needs to be re-worded for clarification purposes. Also, the "How much do you enjoy having a good time" slider is a bit odd. I understand what it is attempting to say, so perhaps re-word it to something like, "How important is fun when playing?" Or better yet, a

Perhaps I was misinformed on the dangers of earbuds. According to some studies I have found, sound-isolating earbuds may be less dangerous to hearing than open ear designs when used in loud environments, as users with open ear headphones tend to increase the volume to dangerous levels (> 85 dB) in order to drown out background noise. I would like to share my conclusions on how to find affordable headphones for different uses: For listening that requires
This. I support including ALL games in order for gamers to find similar people with which to chat about said games. I like the idea of matchmaking as more than just an attempt to start matches; it is a way to connect gamers with similar interests.

Ready to Play isn't quite Windows 7-friendly. It minimizes to the Notification Area, which is less than ideal for 7 users. It would be great if we could toggle it to keep it in the Superbar when minimized, and better yet, Jump Lists and icon overlays would be fantastic.
