Also, here's something we should consider: If this year's attempt at reform fails, what happens? What would a reform bill need to contain in order to pass? Keep in mind that the Democrats could easily pass reform themselves. This isn't a "Republicans aren't cooperating *grumble*" issue.

Ready to Play has a lot of potential with old games. If players broadcast that they own something like Titan Quest, and are looking for other fun-seeking players, there will suddenly be a group of interested gamers connected to one another via Ready to Play. It is like a Twitter feed or a Facebook status for gamers, with matchmaking ability. Excellent!

I am not suggesting a communist situation where everyone is paid the same, but i am also suggesting that salaries for physicians in the US (and for that matter pro athletes, movie stars, etc.) are inflated. If anyone is going to argue that you don't need a television for console gaming, since, well, you should already own one, doesn't the same hold for PC gaming? I would argue that the costs of "upgrading" to PC gaming or console game are roughly similar. Here's why: Starting from nothing: PC: $600-1200 (includes all hardware and a monitor) Console: $300 console, $400-1500 in home theater equipment (varies greatly, depending on desired experience) <

Well, in response to the posts above, I tend to be very forgiving when it comes to sci-fi films and questions of technology and setting. However, because District 9 attempts such a realistic presentation (the cinematography is more documentary than classic film), I feel compelled to criticize it as something more. Perhaps the hype associated with the movie has also intensified by criticism.

^ I tend to care less about issues of biology/science (this film doesn't attempt to validate itself, scientifically, so it isn't too productive to question these things), and more about plot holes, contradictions, and generally unbelievable things in regards to human nature. This film irks me on many of these issues, so I cannot assign it the praise that others are so willing to grant it.

I am quite upset about this game. While I lost all respect for Epic ages ago, they continue to demonstrate that they do not care about PC gaming. A company that owes its existence and success to PC gaming has abandoned its original followers to milk the console market. I'm sure they are getting a nice bonus for making this an Xbox LIVE-exclusive title, or hell, maybe they aren't, but they don't want to spend the pennies to port it to the PC. For those unfamiliar with the game, it was
