Can't load saved game after today's update. in Sins of a Solar Empire Sins Forums

Hello there, Haven't really posted here before. I own Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion on Steam. I was playing a match for the past couple of days. I came home and sins had a small update. I got back into the game after the small update and found I had to change my graphic settings again. Also my save games, while still there will not load. As it says that they are from a older version. I was just playing this morning, is there no way to continue playing my old game?
