really good (tested online anways) suggestions for oak players: 1. take cleric->bishop idols, this is a must! (*don't rely on the exploit) 2. take surge of faith when you can over whichever skill, as the surge is the 'belt of giants' you can't afford. 3. consider taking that rod that lowers spell costs (for 5-7? seconds).. toggle it, use pennance, surge, resummon your minions.. whatever, it's useful though as your spells are expensive! i wouldn't rely on having multiple ranks of the same idol as it's an exploit.. i tend to buy priests at the start.. speratic 190 heals x 2 > armor/hp pot.. but it depends if you need the teleport scroll.
