Demigod is a better experience online than off. If you'd like to try it out but want some advice or assistance before going at it alone add me (Othello) to your 'friends list.' I don't play that often but I know my way around Demigod and am happy to help you out. I encourage anyone else willing to help those new to online play to do the same.
I would recomend Warhammer 40K Dawn of War 2. I`ve really been enjoying it over the last month. It`s on sale on Steam right now for $19.99. Apparently it`ll be on sale till the end of monday.
second that, but only for multiplayer

modders, do you think its possible to overhaul the visuals of the game: make rook larger? light/dark skins for each demigod? make towers "tower?" make the shops more organic to the setting? (with only a handful of maps, individualize each maps two 'bases') a more dramatic difference in light and dark structures other than color?

Why does the "community" tab bring up NVIDIA drivers? *EDIT* uninstalled and reinstalled impulse and found out it was caused by me previously intalling the NVIDIA version. P.S. I like the white background. *EDIT, EDIT* Please bring back the old orb menu.

It looks like Frogboy wasn't doing too bad. What's those names I see on the right side of the screen? Playing with an updated game?

As someone who only plays this game in skirmish and Pantheon, as long as there's no waiting period between Pantheon ends and beginnings I have no problem with this. I prefer Pantheon to skirmish because of the seperation of light and dark demigods.

3v3, great! Except when its: 2 AI and 1 human VS. 3 humans. 2v2, I'll take it! Except when its: 1 AI 1 human VS. 2 humans. I've had a 2 VS. 2 with 2 AI's (from the start) VS. 2 humans. It seems the human paired with an AI or 2 is almost assured a loss while the human team a hollow win. These game situations happen more than not.

What about sperate rankings for custom matches and pantheon/skirmish? Then once "team join" in pantheon/skirmish (with the option to play complete PUG vs PUG, PUG vs pre-made, pre-mades vs pre-made) make custom matches unranked.

It seems the player it would appeal to would be expierenced and know to not die too often. I like the concept, but I suggest upping the reduction to 60%+. Especially because it is your favor item that game.

Thought you guys might find it amusing that Steven Spielberg is was rumored to be making an "ultra-real" game named LMNO which is pronunced Elemental. It doesn't seem like the either games genre will overlap. http://kotaku.com/5303184/further-confirmation-that-spielbergs-lmno-is-doa-%5Bupdate%5D

It's strange, I had a similar convorsation about this with a coworker a month ago. Although it was assuming an earth wide power failure with the doom and gloom scenario of 2012. We came to the conclusion that alot of the modern distractions (i.e. Ipods, t.v. video games) would be erraticated and in the end it a culture would emerge focusing on family and friends (and all the drama would be face to face). We agreed that riding around on horses for trasportation would be thrilling. A la
Quoting Othello, reply 11 Quoting Foreshadowed, reply 3Shamblers are a joke.... I disagree, you may have an optimised plan that works for you, but I find shamblers to be useful in the field for "human (shambler) shields" while attacking towers and in field health which keeps me on the attack and lets me use gold to purchase items other than health potions. And I find any added DPS helps. They also

I've noticed it on Cataract that the QoT's auto attack animation can be seen falling down in the space between the bottom of the playing field and the water. Not exactly a game breaker =) but something to look into with all that spare time you guys have (
