Distract the enemy with the spy. Sneak your green beret to plant the decoy. Use the trapper to deploy a bear trap. Sneak back and let the drama unfold just in time for your sapper to blow up the fortification. Commandos 1 and 2 were great!

Disciples 2:Gold is on Good Old Games (gog.com) for something like $10. It's DRM free, completely. I picked it up on sale a few weeks ago for $5 and have enjoyed it very much. Only one unit (one of the "heroes") will go from map to map (in the story mode) but each unit built will, and needs to be, leveled up per map. There alot to it. Unit pairing, time management, do you hire a new hero or buy potions etc etc. On top of that, it's a beautifully drawn isometric 2-d world, 3-d battle u

I have no problem with not having tangible video game material. Not having to worry about upgrading computer components would even be better. Nothing is lost in the transmission. Movies take a dive in quality and so does music, so that's a no go. The kindle is great for public domain books, but I'll spring the extra $2 for the hard copy of copyrighted material. Video games are the sole acception. In the end, it's all buisness, if it doesn't sell it wont continue. If it does, even if i

I'm holding off till about $50 for 4GB RAM (2X2GB). Dragon Age can wait. Probably by that time Dragon Age will be $15 including expansions and hence my awesome steam sale discount would be for naught. 2GB get's me through SoaSE, STALKER, DOW2, and should get me through Elemental. And all those GOG games.
Othello, That processor supports dual channel ram. The ideal setup would be (2) sticks of 2 gigs. If you plan on adding (2) more 1 gig sticks then the ram speeds will be decreased your latencies will increase and you will lose the dual channel component as well. Vista is quite the ram hog, i would recommend 4 gigs of ram and definitely only 2 sticks. (i'm assuming your laptop has 4 ram slots, which ma

Stardock did alot of work, post release, for multiplayer. We got 2 new demigods for free (but there was artwork of them during beta. so they were in the works since then.) It's been a long time since the game came out and I imagine there are not many new purchasers, so financially (GPG is a buisness afterall) there's probably not much incentive. GPG is an independent company (I believe) so there's no one but themselves to tell them not to post to us about the state of
ram is cheap if you have 64 bit you should use way more then 4 gb because 32 bit is limted to under 4.
If know know where I can get 8+ GB of laptop RAM for under $100 I will. Upgrading would only be to make my Dragon Age and Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War 2 gameplay smoother.

Thanks, you've been very helpful. I think it's time for an upgrade. Any place besides newegg.com to buy RAM at a good price? I waited till morning to buy some. Price went up $20. Bad luck. Othello

I'm running on 2GB RAM with windows vista 64. If I upgrade to 4GB RAM, will i notice a significant improvement in gaming quality? Graphics, speed, textures etc? I'm thinking about upgrading because I'm on a laptop and can run Dragon Age pretty maxed about but only at 800x600. Will installing more RAM help me out to play with a higher resolution? Thanks!
The price won't be going up at release, most likelyl And retail stores usually offer similar prices because they really hate having to charge more then the digital retailers (the extra money is all profit for the digital distributors, especially since Stardock is both publisher and developer in this case). So you can pick it up where you find it more convenient, though actually finding a PC game in my area is pretty hard given they have ha

Will Elemental be the same price online as brick and mortar retail (excluding sales etc etc)? Will it be the same price today as the days following release? Thanks! Othello
It could be a problem with the memory used. If you are using a 32-bit OS you are generally limited to 2GB of memory space. Anything?

Ok, I know it's a valve game and there are steam forums, but I'm sure impulse posters will be more knowledgable. When I start playing L4D it runs smooth and fast, by the second or third part of a campain, it starts stuttering and slowing down. Why might this be happening? Anything I can do about it? L4D is the only game this happens to me. Thanks Othello
I kind of feel bad for people who bought the Kindle. This thing will kill that.
The main draw for me to the kindle is the e.ink. I doubt the kindle is going away. The iPad is a jack of all trades but can't compete with a specilized device like the kindle, nook, or sony e.reader.

I like this game. I'd pay for DLC if it was resonably priced. Financial gain would probably expedite a demigod making process and I'm all for it. It dissapointing to see this fall through. Othello
