Hey all. Recently came back to play more Demigod and ran into a small issue. The game won't launch! Every time I try it shows me the screen with the Demigod logo, flickers a little, then closes with the following message: "compressed texture support is missing or disabled - check video drivers for updates" I certainly checked my video drivers multiple times and reinstalled the latest update. Even tried reinstalling Demigod off of Impulse. However, I am running XP via Boot Camp

Just dropping in to share some thoughts: For the most part, I find Yeti's to be useless and Shamblers to be fine. Shamblers to pale a little compared to Spirits of Nightwalkers though, simply by virtue of how outnumbered they are. From my experiences ingame and what I've read I've come up with a few suggestions for changing mines. TEC: No real change needed. The damage and cost of the mines may be varied as testing continues. Vasari: The minelayers should deploy a field of mines as opposed to two, and doing so should cost resources (less than TEC, because you had to buy the ship) and have a longer cooldown and antimatter cost than it currently does. I haven't seen everything there is to see in Entrenchment, but here's what I think about it: Star Bases: More range on their weapons seems like a good thing. Also, built-in flak cannons. I haven't had much experience fighting against fully upgraded starbases, but lesser ones fall to 20 frigates or so (plus capital ship support) with no casualties.
