Is beta still open? in Demigod Demigod Forums

So I was going through the website and I am intrigued by demigod. It seems like something I would be interested in playing and I'd like to be part of the beta. However, from things that I've seen I don't know if the beta is still open if I were to pre-order the game. I ask this because if the beta is still open I would probably pre-order the game to be a part of it. If it isn't then I would probably wait until the game came out and read the reviews and
