You are correct. Throwing more meat at the problem reduces the time it takes to conquer the planet. There is a minimum amount of time, and using soldiers with higher resolve and a higher soldiering skill will also reduce the time. Don't worry though -- if you are Mimot, you can just make more, quickly.

Yea, I spoke too soon. DX12 worked once, and now doesn't work at all. The black screen and wait for 5 minute move is still working for me. It's gotta be whatever turning the game is doing at the onset that is breaking things....
I have been fighting through the FAQ and virtual memory settings and all of the community suggestions on Ashes to no avail the last two days. I found the magic bullet that fixed my issues... Patience. I would launch Ashes in either DX11 or 12 and would be greeted by a black screen or a white screen with a cursor.
