I usually just tell those indignant assholes to make up their minds. Suck it up and stop complaining, or start speaking German full time, kick back with a full bodied lager, and learn to enjoy sauerbraten and sausages. War back then didn't have the precision guided weaponry we have today. Then I usually get dirty looks every time our paths cross again. Damn, now I'm hungry and just missed lunch over at <a href="http://www.oldworld.ws/german

Upload it somewhere (like google sites if you have a gmail account already) and then post a link to it here. Gonna run a high speed game with everyone set to AI's and cycle through in the mean time to see what happens.
It wasn't a correction though, merely an explanation of the point I had already made, thus no "telling me off."
Seems to be something going around since you're not the first I've heard mention that in the past day... I just tried it and it's working for me. Got any script blockers or anything running that might be interfering? They have download limits so if one get's messed up and quits on you, I know sometimes you're blocked for a little bit.
Siege guns will not fire in a backwards direction, at least, I've never been able to make it happen. I tried redesigning the Vasari Siege platform once so that it would have 4 siege guns all pointing a different direction and spinning. Wanted it to look like a saw blade shooting at the planet as each weapon rotated around and faced it. Regardless of orientation of the mesh point, the weapons would only fire when the model was facing the planet, instead of getting a chain
Interesting, never have had that problem. I'll accept any recommendations of sites that work best for you as long as I don't have to pay. ;P I can also maybe try a direct file transfer over IRC, TeamSpeak , MSN, or ICQ (though I haven't used this one in years), or maybe give you a temporary account to my NAS drive so you can grab the file off of that... There are the options, let me know what you want to tr

I wouldn't say it was made with skill, but here is a 1920x1080 screen grab of the video. Download: http://sites.google.com/site/steelers086/gamefiles/Titan.png Preview:
Most likely yes, however, since these aren't in game shots, but rather an artist's animation, you could also be seeing the glow from missile's drive engines and then those missiles impacting on the shield. In game they'd have exhaust trails to make identification easier.

not really. That's an artist drawing, I use in game screen shots to size it all up. I probably will be using a grey scale of the ingame shot in the future rather then drawing up my own wire image and marking it all up.
Stant feel like doing another ship sizing chart again?
Well, I've always intended on doing it for all of them due to the fact that nothing is to scale with each other. There's just this pesky thing called time I never seem to have enough of. ;P But I'll get to it eventually though, you can be sure of that.
There is a cutscene for all three thus far. Start whatever version of the game you want to see the scene for, go to Options, Cinematic, and check the box for Show Opening Cinematic... Quit the game and run it again and you'll get to see it. Of course, there are other ways to see it but this is the least technical method. I liked this little vid, but the Titan's shot just looked weak. I'll have to get Krdax working on a new particle fo

Yes, auto saves work the same, they're just automatic.
