The good news is that its not all games. I've hosted quite a few random games and have yet to have anyone drop after realizing it was a crazy matchup. Played against 2 erb opponents today and won. It was a fun game. I mostly like randoms because they force me and other people to try different dgs. Its a nice change up IMO.

I'll was having some silly fun, but fair enough. I'll change out the title and this can be locked if desired. :)
Don't take away the 3 minute rule, it's useful if someone is lagging the game up. I don't think it's worth losing the ability to leave a crap game just because people can't use all random responsibly.
Good counter point. 3 min rule obviously does serve a purpose.
I saw the title and I knew it was slurple... :)
it starts counting as soon as the load-screen pops up regardless of waiting for players etc.
hmm... didn't know that. Thanks for the extra info!
Hmm... only bonus is that if peeps dump after 3 min, at least you don't get hurt stat wise...
Region - US. if your ping is good, I'm interetsed. On xfire as pacov. add me as friend and we'll give it a shot.
+1 - hoping this thread doesnt' become us giving karma back and forth. :)
Banned for saying logic twice and not giving a nod to Spock.
Completely agree. This was bound to happen, but is sad. Glad to say I haven't experienced. Why not play out a random encounter. ALSO - SD - COULD IT BE ANY WORSE IF WE REMOVED THE 3 MIN COUNTER? I cannot think of the last game where I benefited from a 3 min timeout. That's nice for pantheon I guess, but how about changing it to a 20 second counter? A-holes who chose a random game and then quit because they don't like the dgs are shite
You now have your wireless internet back and its named sexy beast. You named a wireless internet sexy beast and now can never have sex with a human female. I wish Neil Gaiman still wrote the Sandman.
SyDaemon... really? This did exist as an issue after 1.1 was released (I understood it to be 100% of the time you couldn't launch a game using random). This is the not the case with the 1.1 update... I have had 100% success launching random DG games. Please respond if you find that not to be the case.
It comes all down to luck rather than how good/bad I am at Demigod.
We completely agree... which leads me to what I said not in bold:
But, you don't have to because I'd enjoy to see a 200 win streak.
Which makes celebrating 100 wins utterly pointless for an individual player, but exciting for demigod's stability as a game. That's my real point. Or let me expand upon that. I hope I can drum up enough interest t
Here we go. Pay it forward. We all enjoy a little karma tied to our names. +1 the person before you and explain why. I just gave +1 to woca because he makes some good points on other threads. I add to the community by viewing the bug report forum every day or so to see if I can help anyone out. Update - this was a silly post and a dev feels like its abusing the karma system, which is pretty ea

Defenz... I'd gladly play a game with you to help you out. I'm on xfire. Grab an ID there and send me a friend request and we'll get a game going. Once you've played a bit, the computer tends to be a joke (which is good, IMO).

If they tell you they are, you play, lose, and then complain... you are being a jerk. I've asked several ti
Agreed... this would be a good to to sticky, SD Mod!
Guys... simple civil tone. OP made a request to have some sort of option added if possible to not have duplicate demigods. I personally enjoy playing against and with duplicates, but many disagree. I doubt anyone has problems with the devs adding some option so duplicates wouldn't be allowed, but I would personally much rather they work on something else... replays... those 2 new demigods, etc. We did get a new WORKING feature tod ay. Have some fun w
mawdudi, You do have a good point, but I'm more impressed from a technical standpoint than a "he's great" standpoint. The game is so much better than its been in the past (regarding crashes, etc), but I could not previously imagine playing 100 games without a crash or someone host disconnecting or blah. Unfortunately, the only possible way to get a 100 game win streak is by playing premades with someone you know as the host, but you still have to be a pretty good player to
Great question. Any more hints on what's coming, SD?
No, but they'll probably end up reseting the stats anyway since they're broken.
Agreed. If they do manage to tackle this particularly nasty stat bug/exploit, I'd wager we will see a stat reset. There's not a hell of a lot you can do at this point to ensure that this won't happen to you again other than to just play customs and host your own games... I cared alot about stats as well, but once you see how easy it is to have them get trashed regardless
I'm not sure if this is the problem, but each pantheon game ends up with 1 host. If the host leaves the game before its over, you won't get credit. For instance, your game here: http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/game/721880/player/47067/ Winner: Forces of Darkness <span class="darksec
