So a few days ago, I played with what I'd consider was easily the best team I've ever had. It was solo queue around Plat IV elo. Sadly, I don't even remember the composition. Anyway, what stuck out was the extreme objective focus we had. Folks played well (nothing super flashy, but people were on point). Folks didn't bugger off with low HP if we could safely get an objective - they'd stick around and get crap done. I could make aggressive play

well, got in 2 more games tonight. Both wins - qualified for series to plat III. Hopefully get to play that tomorrow. I've been having some pretty remedial ass adcs. One game the guy was about as solid as I'd be playing adc in an a game at this elo (read - not so good). It was a lot of really basic positioning mistakes in lane - the type where I have to blow exh pretty quickly to save someone that previously had 100% hp bad. So, had that 1
koral/boaz should be happy - buffs inc in 6.5 for sej and vi.
A quick thought I'm actually considering dodging matches I expect things to go awful based on composition. I don't look up folks stats in the lobby itself, but if the comp is garbage, I consider dodge. I was about to dodge my 1st ranked game of the night yesterday - rengar top + squish in all other roles. That actually turned out to be the best team I've played with in quite some time. We'll see though. I don't mind the idea of losing
Happy to say I'm sticking with my ever so slightly more disciplined routine during the week. This usually means I allocate a little under 2 hours for nerding and will generally be done by 9PM or so (that's still in flux). Working out, eating all proper like, and running. I get all that stuff done, then play for an hour or 2 until I'm bored with LoL. I think I'm going to stick to that Mon-Thurs, so I'll be less available. That's also helpin
Didn't karls tell you it was going to be a bit of a nightmare? Sorry its a pisser man. :(
[e digicons]:bebi:[/e] I try to be realistic and then aim above. Last season I actually felt like i hit a wall around plat IV. Meaning I would have had to grind things out a bit to move on up (win/lose, get better, work hard, hit plat III and so on). This season I haven't hit that wall yet. I'm still feeling pretty strong, not getting outplayed much, etc. Did get plat IV tonight though. Hopefully I can keep on moving up ala the jeffersons.<
New solo queue apparently 1 1/2 months off https://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/48ydr1/solo_queue_confirmed_notscrapped_supposedly_1_12/ https://twitter.com/RiotSupport/status/704710112846348288 #thanksreddit
recap of the night - ended night qualifying for my series to plat IV on my main. Played 1-2 ranked with pals, then 2 solo and hit the series. Lots of easy games tonight. Lost 1 with me as panth top. I played ok - we were significantly handicapped by a jungle kalista on our team, but I could have played better/made better decisions. A few bad calls from me, but honestly mostly fugged over by the shite doing that crap in the jungle. played w
Planning on taking the day off tomorrow, so I'll likely be on late tonight nerding it up.

Yeah - i thought you'd like the ziggs changes. I remember him being one you used to play a bit. Good stuff. Been using the lol friend connect app. Works fine. Actually been able to touch base with some folks I haven't spoken with in a bit, so that's cool. Haven't really used it too much for getting into games with folks per se, though. Don't think I'm super likely to drop w/e I'm doing to play a game if I see someone come
So, didn't have too much time last night so I think I only got to play 1 ranked on my main last night. I queue up, get support, and immediately the guy playing mid asks if he can support. Eventually he gets enough people to swap around and I end up playing pantheon out of top. I pull up some stats when we hit the load screen and our team looks like trash on paper (we've also got no tanks into a 2 tank enemy team with trundle/zac). Now, I've been pl
So, nauts apparently super swell top lane now. I see why (tanky, lots of peel, good initiator). Not really something I really find all that fun (I'm really not digging low dps tanks atm, so mostly a personal thing) - pretty good pick for your team at any rate. So, I've been playing a bit of panth here and there. Most of the time I'm running the keystone that gives you the move speed buff if you do X dmg + slow reduction. I find that's rea
Reddit says this: Sivir's W buff increased her winrate by 4.5% (48.5%->53%), making her the second best ADC (behind Graves) I kind of thought the buff was going to be pretty huge (w's crit change). Still not a big sivir fan, but yeah, she's looking MUCH stronger. That's kind of a ridicu
Anyone use the target only champs hot key? I never really did, but I think I probably should. Panth and lulu in particular... i end up missing certain casts and hitting creeps instead..
League is currently jacked. Had a few patches to download. Rango/aatrox disabled. LARGE login queue. Might want to start a login when you get home if you are looking to play later.
Got in a few games with hunny and bryff yesterday. Didn't have a lot of time, but got a few easy wins. finally unlocked panth on my alt and found him to be "somewhat" effective. I don't play much pantheon out side of the occasionally jungle panth stint from when he was soloing drakes at level 3... anyway, my mechanics are kind of smeh, but I found him fairly easy to CS with and still reasonably strong post nerf (I think I remember him taking a nerf this patch, but pr
A couple of days ago Riot accidentally posted this then quickly erased it. Supposedly. WHAT IS PURE SOLO RANKED QUEUE? Pure Solo Ranked Queue allows players to enter ranked matches in the new Champion Select without any premade matches. All 10 players in the match will be solo queue players. HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT FROM PAST SEASONS SOLO QUEUE? In past seasons you could always bring a frie
Other stuff - holy crap am I an awful lord outside of support atm. On my alt account I don't really value elo anymore. Not really on my main either. That whole new queue thing (which rito mentioned like once and has since STFU about... bad sign, boys?) really put things a bit more in perspective. Let the solo queue be try hard that maters. Let dynamic queue be try hard if my pals are try hard. Anyway, been putting in reps on some goofy things (goofy
Welcome, Raywen! Feel free to chime in about w/e.
Currently feel a little bit sad about League - Dominion got removed
re: dominion - man, I never really got into that game mode. Got super pumped when I heard about it. Played it a bit, and then I was over it. Just didn't like the pacing. Still, bit of a bummer to see it go for folks that enjoyed it. <p
Yeah - saw his win rate going up - someone did a vid a couple days back about korean solo queue and he was up there. Anything special in the build or just decent in the meta?
So, I decided I'll take advantage of being at a lower elo to work on my crappier champs/roles a bit. Here's some thoughts about what I've been up to. malzahar mid - I kind of suck with him. I find laning to be really easy. I blow with last hitting early levels due to slow animation speed and not calculating space aids right. That's just mechanical and something I'll iron out if I play him more. I'm getting better at trading
Got my 1st penta of the season playing tank akali. hurm.
