New champ is out. Saw dyrus trying it in the jungle to bad effect. I unlocked the champ by combining 3 of the champs I owned in crafting, so that works as expected. Good news- in 7 hours I get another chest drop... then a 1 week wait. Ah well - why not. 1 key shard away from another unlock.

Have you given Jhin a fair shake? I find him to be lower risk, higher reward. And you can generally safely farm up to your 1st power spike (I usually do my 1st shop with 1400 gold or so - feels easier to last hit). + you can generally afford to position safely in fights and drop your ult from a distance while bruisers/tanks do their thing. Got like 26 kills with the fella in a plat/gold elo game.. and I don't consider myself all that good an adc. Not sure how
Yeah... it's been looking like they are going to bone us for a bit. My current conclusion is that this will be a feature that gets pushed to next season... if it gets implemented at all. Kind of bummed as well. I guess try to look at the positive side of things - if you had ranked anxiety, this likely helped (helped me anyway). I think mao is just you. I don't think he's particularly strong, but if you use him well, that's just another tank that provides cc - and dmg reduction.
IDK re: the honor system. Seems like it needs reworked and its kind of wonky. For instance, as I understood it, folks like you that would give out honor often have less value in their feedback than if someone only gave it out once in awhile... and the weight of your honor vote means less if other folks report the same fellas, etc. And some could get honor ribbons early on if their pals just spammed hooked each other up. Well - looks like I was right - rito confirms that if champion mastery isn't enabled for a queue, then there are no loot drops. They did say that champion mastery is in development for ARAM at least. So, bottom line, no key drops for now... unless something is wrong. played exactly 3 games with boaz on my main - demoted instantly to plat IV. :P Actually kind of weird, jokes aside. I hit plat 3 - think I played like 1-3 games total - 2 win 1 loss... something like that. Tonight i fire it back up, get exactly 3 losses in a row. Instant demote to plat IV. Kind of weird. Not sure why though. Maybe mmr was low... but still. I was playing a bunch solo on my main - not influenced by lower gold folks etc...

Something I just learned about crafting. So, yesterday I noticed I didn't get a chest 1 game where I expected one (either I or someone else on the team got an S). Anyway, I get nothing. Then I read a guide today on reddit that says that you only get 1 chest per champion for the season. So, if I play jhin, get a S, I get 1 chest. I play him again and get an S, I get nothing. Yay - Plat III! Highest I've ever made it in LoL. Game 3 was tough. My adc sucked a little, I didn't play quite as good as I could have in lane. I rotated like a freaking boss though and got us an early turret lead with team.
