This once again reaffirms my belief to never buy a civ game on release, though I admit I was tempted, but I am glad I held off. What a disappointment. Is it due to the digital distribution that we have now that devs feel its OK to release sub par games because they can "patch them up" and add DLC down the line? :( I mean Civ V is amazing, BUT, BUT only after Gods and Kings and a Brave New World were released. I am sure Civ:BE will become great once at least two major expansion

So what happened to my Ceresa? Was she executed? Shown Mercy since she got caught up in a mess that was not entirely of her making, or did Relias send her to be with her number one fan (me) for the rest of her life? And for that matter what of the wraiths themselves?

Its not a bad game at its early state, honestly I think the art for some of the units is a little out there, the fallen are more twqisted than they were in FE/LH, yet some of the animals look better as though, so I am split on the art direction, I just hope we see some "normal" fallen units as well rather than the overly twisted ones.

One last idea from me, Create Champion,(Maybe "Sovereign's Blessing"?) spend 500 mana on a player controlled creature to make them a champion that does not die, merely suffers the wounds and their penalties like other heroes. Basically imbue essence from Elemental.

How about Sovereign specific spells? For example Oracle Ceresa at level 12 can summon a death demon. Another spell ideas would be. Elemental Binding:(Strategic or tactical) basically the tame beast spell but works on twisted and elemental creatures. Each creature has a mana upkeep of 10 or more depending on the creature tamed, with higher level creatures needing more mana. If mana runs out they become free and can turn on the player if they are near cities. But as long

I have suggested this as well under "population management" I too want to be able to dictate how the species on my planet are treated. https://forums.galciv3.com/450213/page/1/#3421757 Maybe I want Altarians on my planets, but want to brutally enslave the Drengin filth, or exterminate them outright from my planets.

Honestly I love the roll playing aspect the best, I always like to play the roll of an adviser that has to help a somewhat misguided leader help salvage their struggling kingdom, and make it a powerhouse. I also enjoy the city building and research aspect of the game, making an empire with massive cities that each on their own is a powerhouse feels great. The random events and quests I also like and wish there were many more quests and random events.

I honestly still have to go with diplomacy, while I know its very difficult to get right in an 4x game the diplomacy here still feels shallow, making it difficult to make friends or blood enemies. Even making friends with an opposing kingdom has no effect with your diplomatic relations, if a fallen empire managed o make good friends with Altar then maybe other Kingdoms would take a more kindly view towards you, while pissing off the neighbors and and what not. Furthermore trading is rather dr
Yeah, I bought this game at launch when it was called Elemental and was very disappointed. I got pretty annoyed because I hate blowing that kinda cash on garbage so I just avoided talk from Stardock for ages and now there's supposedly a version that's out that's what we were promised when we bought the original game, but Stardock is charging for it. GJ. You don't make me want to support your company.
</p

Yea I found that out the hard way, I assumed it would have worked on them since they are "beasts" and not in the magical categories. Well I will remember that the collar is a magic item.

Are the ophidians supposed to be immune to the studded collar's tame ability? As it stands they are in the "beast" race, and the collar can tame any beast supposedly.
But AFTER that one I have two questions I’d like to get your views on: 1. How OFTEN do you want to see new DLC? (Monthly, Quarterly, Every couple months, etc.) 2. What would you like to see our NEXT DLC be? a. Stamps pack (for more random map generation interest) b. More tactical battles maps c. More magical spells d. New factions e. More loot f. More quests g. Something else (if it invo
