If it means anything, u've snagged and addicted a total non-strat gamer with this one. I've played predominately FPS stuff in the past, but have been looking to get into something new as of late. How friendly is Sins to strat newcomers? in Sins of a Solar Empire Sins Forums

My PC gaming throughout the years has been very shooter oriented. I've played a bit of the Star/Warcrafts, but dont have much strategy gaming experience otherwise (never played a Civ, or any 4X game for that matter). That being said, I'm kind of intrigued by the look of Sins and was wondering how friendly the game is to strat newbies. Is it something a relatively inexperienced strategy gamer can pick up and get into? or
