Hey, just wanted to update you on my performance issues. So I did everything you said. I defragged using that program you suggested (Wow, almost took me 24 hours, but it was worth it). I cleared up a lot of old junk on my computer and now both partitions are roughly half empty. Unfortunately, while performance did improve a little, it's still not playable. I tried both the Mars Effect and the Sins Plus mods on their own and they both chugged. What I'm guessing is the problem is

I'm having another problem with the mod, which plays wonderfully and is a lot of fun. Thanks for the work you've both done. :) Now, I'm running this game on a laptop with an intergrated chip, so I don't expect wonders or anything. I could, however, play the base game on the lowest settings and most effects turned off, and it ran at a very smooth clip. For some reason, though, my performance really dipped down after I started playing this mod. From what I can see, nothing visual

Sorry, I have an issue here that relates more to the combination of both the Mars Effect and Uzi's Planetary Bonus mod. It specifically has to do with the planetary bonus tooltips, however, since I followed the instructions posted in this thread, I felt it better to ask for help here first. Basically, I don't get the name of the planetary bonus. It shows the symbol, then beside it, where the name should be, I get "String not Found". I can still see the effects of the bonus, jus
