impossible to update my game... correct key-number refused...???? in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

Hi, I'm quite disappointed because I bought today Galactic Civilizations 2 and I wanted directly update the game to the latest version, but I can't. In order to have the update I should download the programm from Stardock. After that they ask me to give my serail-number. Easy I wrote it up and... it didn't work! The program says my key-number is false ???? It's amazing. I bought the game by Saturn in Francfort (Germany) and this serial-number is on the CD because there is
