It's seems to me, there is some misunderstanding. You suggests, what I'm already doing : Reducing the number of races in a game. ( BTW : I know what the options are for ;) ) Sorry, Starman99, but that's not what I want to know. I am interested in a bigger starmap. Is someone else out there, who has a link, a hint or even a "There is no such map anywhere." ?

.... I think, I'll ask this question :D . Are there bigger starmaps than 22x22 somewhere ? I want to know this, because .. - I'm a builder - I want to play with all races - I need a "little bit more realism" With the current maps I usually have contact with other races very quickly, often within the first turns. As you know that's not good for builder games, because you need to develope offensive and defensice techs too early with no change to get up the pla
