Can't update Galactic Civ II in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

I have a unique issue, I cannot get the game to update. Here is what I have for system specs: Windows 7 RC --- I did get Sins of the Solar Empire to install and play just fine, and Ga, Civ II plays great too, and the Impulse now worked great until I tried to update tothe latest game. 6gb ram-Intel Core i920-9800GTX+ w/512 mg ram-320gb hard drive+(larger hard drives) Both games and Impulse are installed on the same drive, the C drive.
