One last word for now. The entire multiplayer focus has rendered the story just about meaningless. The War in Heaven archetype is EXCELENT basis for a game... But there's no possible resolution, plot, point, or developement beyond "this is why you're pwning noobs". If that's what you want, that's great but you shouldn't put work into a story you'll never use. Eh, so I was a bit naive. Perhaps it's wrong to do ANYTHING in the gaming world these days without at least 5 months of research before hand but I find that obsessing over a game that long make the wait unbearable and causes even more undo disappointment should it happen to be less than expected... Wow, forums DO automaticly assume you're a troll. Now I'll admit I've been a lil hostile... I was quite upset at the moment but you people have been delightfully cruel. Still, watching people galvanize over the campaign/no campaign issue has raised some interesting thoughts. Are we, as PC gamers, looking for a world simply devoid of any and all single player activity in exchange for more multiplayer content? Should we be trying to strike a balance between the two? Should we even care?

I have to admit I suffered a wonderful array of negative emotions over this game in very short order. To begin with I had severe frustration just trying to get it to work. It took insane file juggling, setting tweaking, and general geekness to get the program to launch at all. Once launch occured my disappointment was breathtaking.
