So I figure, lets install Demigod on my vista laptop here to see if it works, as I have full control over everything, now this is where the problems start. Wow, I managed to fix my connection problems. I have a DrayTek vigor 2600 router. By checking the 'Accept Incoming Fragmented UDP Packets' option my problems in custom games disappeared. This options is under: > Advanced Setup> IP Filter / Firewall Setup> General Setup> Advanced Setup> IP Filter / Firewall Setup> General Setup I'm guessing the UDP packets are in some way fragmented and where being blocked by the router.

Custom games have gone totally to shit, before this patch *never* had any problem (except skirmish taking ages to find a game, and constantly trying to make retarded match ups like 1 vs 2, which has now turned into 1 vs AI), but now almost every game there is 1 single person I cant connect to, even though that person is connected to me. Half the time this person is also the host so I cant even join a lobby, even though I'm already connected to *everybody* else in the game.

From what I can tell the update isnt online yet. Simplest option is to just backup your demigod game (under c:\program files\stardock games\demigod, also why cant we choose the install directory :() before updating.
