I suggest all the map makers elect 1 person to be in charge of maintaining 1 file to dl for everyone to use. Keeps things simple
what about DU? we havent totally disappeared a couple people reappeared. we now have enough for a 5v5 clan match whenever. We wont be as good as before but i think that we are not out of the clan circle yet. _|~Uber (ps. how did i get as much karma as jj?)
I gave up trying to show devs the game needed major balancing done to it. How about DU takes on winners?
I understand amish, though I'm waiting for patch that they said was coming soon. Whip, I would like to do both, random maps and your set maps
We havent had a clan match in awhile. Who in DT can play and what time/day
Post a few replays of you playing. People can watch and tell you what you are doing wrong or right
I did a search SOSE at TPB. Its not being pirated much.
Quoting Deceiver_0, reply 8Im gonna hazard a guess here.. but Im thinking that when they release diplomacy in beta, they'll have to update ICO... and ICO updates often come with game patches... so.. maybe a patch for vanilla and entrenchment when beta is released for testing? Certainly they must have adjusted things during diplomacy developement, or at least worked out a few more of those desync and miniD bugs, they'll likely put out a patch
IMO the best rush is the one that counters your opponets fleet. You cant just stick to one strategy. I've seen a 100+ colony fleet used against me. Suprisingly strong.
No offense to Amish, but I would have to say Annatar beats him in terms of knowledge about Sins (well, maybe not the MP part, but still) Still, Amish is defenitley #2, by quite a bit. He is awesome It is pretty hard to single out any one guy as the most knowledgeable player -- most helpful player is probably more of what you mean. There are a lot of very knowledgeable players out there, some of whom don't
Tec SB cant hit anything above or below them. Other 2 sb can move/rotate
I play this game because its one of the slowest rts out there. You can do many things while playing this game. But honestly if you are a new player, play against the ai first until you can defeat an unfair ai. Then when you can beat 2-3 unfair ai u will be able to hold ground against half the players online or maybe win. You will need to adjust your tactic and strategy but thats what replays are for.
Oh, heck no! You misunderstand, I make us fight an equal number of Unfair AI's....or maybe have them outnumber us if I have a 2nd skilled. 5 Unfair AI vs myself and 4 noobs has proven quite entertaining before. Okay, I was thinking 2 unfairs against 1 newbie and 1 vet. Yeah, keeping them alive against an onslaught of five unfairs would be a challenge indeed. On the other hand, you probably wouldn't have time to gi
if playing against ai u need 3 steps. 1. build sb 2. wait till marz is lvl 6 3. win
i think people really pick apart this game needlessely, is it really ruining peoples experience? it's always rebalance this and rebalance that, then people boldly go and ask the devs to do something about. you are talking to the devs here, who created the game, they may not see everything, but don't you think they know what they are doing?
Thats why this game still crashes after 1.5 years after release, desy
So I've done test on both lrf and HC to show that the game needs rebalancing. I used the standard 500 creds per metal/crystal to standardize the cost of ships. First column is same fleet supply. Second column is same cost. I used the TEC as the standard for all test. Before I conduct this massive test can the devs indicate if conducting the test well be enlightening or will it be fruitless? Scouts v=350, 3 T=200, 2 A=200, 2
40 lf will take care of a running carrier fleet
I only have the vanilla version, I usually play about 8-12 o'clock, and I usually have the worst luck, and I can pwn medium AI (they're too easy), but hard AI can really give me a hard time (they're still too hard). Oh, and, Observation 1, that's not a question.
Hack can prolly take out 1 or 2 unfair ai's who are against him.
watch replays.
How is this a strategy guide? Its more like a story. 70 ships? 20 turrets? Why would u attack hoping for the best?
My goal is get this balanced, for people to start using strategy. Lum and repulse do need a tweak TEC need a buff. Why was the marz nerf? Its one of the only things going for them. It can be countered. Grey. I suggest you play exclusively vas or tec. See how that goes. I will advent only.
I have made 2 nerf lum thread 1st one was to show that shield mitagation is broken. Lum with about only 8 dps beats an assilant that is suppose to be doing 13. Even upgraded still loses and thats with a dps of 16 with phase missles. People said its not realistic. 1 v 1 fights. So I made a 2nd thread 2nd was to show that mass lums vs mass lrm (tec or vas). Advent lums are so op. Everyone agrees. Arguing that I play onl
dont add...fix first

Devs Please test the unit balance of this game. I have tested LRMs and HC and have posted my results. I have also tested scouts, lf and flak. Most people will be shocked by the results (some wont). Please look at cost and fleet supply use when doing your own inhouse test. thanks
