Thanks, Annatar, it was right where you said it was. Strange that my search didn't hit it, I have hidden and system files visible. Anyway, I put a zipped file up on my web server, here's the link. [link="http://mott.home.dyndns.org/sins.zip"]http://mott.home.dyndns.org/sins.zip[/link] If it doesn't work put a www at the front, I don't remember if I had that in my domain name or not, and I can't check from inside my network. I included a text file telling which planet the fl

I did make a couple save games and was going to put a link here, but I'm not sure where they are. I checked the program's folder and couldn't find them. I also did a search on my whole hard disk for the name I gave the save and it didn't turn up.
I've noticed this since installing the 1.04 patch. There is always one ship per fleet that wants to leave. For example, in the current game I just started around an hour or so ago, I have a fleet which contains 10 Cobalt frigates and 5 LRM missile frigates (playing as TEC, I haven't played any other factions since getting 1.04). One ship (currently a missile frigate) always tries to go from wherever the fleet currently is to the rally point of the frigate factory at my home planet, where the fle

Thanks, Hollow Man. That beta driver seems to have fixed the problem.
Well, I kinda agree with the "unrivaled scale" thing and how we have this enormous playing area where most of it is unusable space. I don't consider it "huge scale" if most of the game area can't even be used. I think the ability to not use phase lanes would be interesting, perhaps as an optional mod. Phase lanes would have to remain for a fast travel option, but in my opinion if a player really wants to wait two or three hours for a fleet to fly between planets without jumping, let the
Well, I'll try the new driver and see what happens then. I hope it works, I really really really want to play this game.
EDIT: There is a beta driver for NVidia graphics cards that seems to resolve this issue. https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/305908 I'm running a high-end system with Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit. Most of the time Sins runs great, I run into random crashes while in the menu system, but once I get into a game I have no problems. However, if I try to load a save game, around 5 minutes after loading the game will crash. Every single time. I haven't had the chance t
